In month of October 2017 three Webinars were organised for stakeholders of the Slovenian industry and a Webinar Press Conference for energy specialised media and institutions.
The first Webinar took place on Monday, 9 October 2017, from 10.00 to 11.00 and was organized by ApE in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce, Association of Agriculture and Food Industry. The invitation together with EU-MERCI Press release was sent to representatives of all members of the association. The webinar was initiated with the opening address by the president of the Association of Agriculture and Food Industry and then the power point presentation by ApE of the approach and use of the information available on the “European Industrial Energy Efficiency good Practices platform (EIEEP)” of the EU-MERCI project and presentation of main information on supporting instruments for the Slovenian industry for improvement the energy efficiency. The presentation was followed by in live presentation of the use of website www.eumerci.eu and the best practice examples for the Food & Beverage sector and completed with discussion with the participants. The participants welcomed the Good practices portal and expressed the opinion that would be a useful tool for the industry.
The second Webinar took place on Thursday, 19 October 2017, from 10.00 to 11.00 and was organized by ApE in collaboration with the IJS Centre for Energy Efficiency, which is organising each year the education course for energy managers in the frame of the program EUREM. The invitation together with EU-MERCI Press release was sent to more than 200 energy managers, which have completed this course during the last 10 years. Within the webinar we have made the power point presentation of the approach and use of the information available on the “European Industrial Energy Efficiency good Practices platform (EIEEP)” of the EU-MERCI project and presentation of main information on supporting instruments for the Slovenian industry for improvement the energy efficiency. The presentation was followed by in live presentation of the use of website www.eumerci.eu and the best practice examples.
The third Webinar took place on Thursday, 24 October 2017, from 10.00 to 11.00 organized by ApE. The invitation together with EU-MERCI Press release was sent to representatives of all relevant national industry stakeholders, ministries, public institutions and associations, decision makers, energy trading companies, local energy agencies and ESCOs. Within the webinar we have made the power point presentation of the approach and use of the information available on the “European Industrial Energy Efficiency good Practices platform (EIEEP)” of the EU-MERCI project and presentation of main information on supporting instruments for the Slovenian industry for improvement the energy efficiency. The presentation was followed by in live presentation of the use of website www.eumerci.eu and the best practice examples and completed with discussion with the participants. The participants welcomed the Good practices portal and expressed the opinion that would be a useful tool for the industry.
The Webinar Press Conference took place on Tuesday, 17 October 2017, from 10.00 to 11.00, organized by ApE. The invitation together with EU-MERCI Press release was sent to all relevant journalists and non-governmental civil institutions specialised for energy and environment topics. media and institutions representatives of all members of the association. Within the webinar press conference ApE presented the approach of the website www.eumerci.eu and use of the information available on the “European Industrial Energy Efficiency good Practices platform (EIEEP)” of the EU-MERCI project and the main information on supporting instruments for the Slovenian industry for improvement the energy efficiency. The information of the EU-MERCI portal was reported in two media and are included below.
